📘 As...as (showing equality)

"As...as" is used to say two things are equal or similar in quality, quantity, or degree.


1️⃣ Structure:

as + adjective/adverb + as

Examples:

  • She is as tall as her brother.
  • This book is as interesting as that one.
  • He runs as fast as I do.

2️⃣ With nouns:

Use as much/many + noun + as for quantity.

Examples:

  • She has as many books as her friend.
  • I don’t have as much money as you.

3️⃣ Negative form:

Add not before the second "as" to show inequality.

Examples:

  • He is not as strong as his father.
  • This car is not as expensive as the other one.
