✅ Regular Verbs
Regular verbs form their past simple and past participle by adding -ed to the base verb.
📌 Rules for Regular Verbs:
Base Verb | Past Simple | Rule |

like | liked | Add -d if it ends in "e" |
stop | stopped | Double the last consonant + ed |
cry | cried | Change "y" to "i" + ed |
❌ Irregular Verbs
Irregular verbs do not follow the -ed rule.
Their past forms must be memorized.
