📘 Regular and Irregular Verbs

Verbs are divided into two main types based on how their past forms are made.


1️⃣ Regular Verbs

  • Form the past tense and past participle by adding -ed or -d to the base form.

Examples:

  • walk → walked
  • play → played
  • cook → cooked

2️⃣ Irregular Verbs

  • Do not follow the regular -ed pattern and have unique past forms.

Examples:

3️⃣ Examples in Sentences

  • I walked to school yesterday. (regular)
