Hello

A word used to greet someone.

Humans in general. The citizens of a nation or ethnic group. A person's family or ancestors (literary).

Example Sentences:

Family

A group consisting of parents and their children living together.

Example Sentences:

  • Where is your family?
  • We invited the whole family to the party.
  • My family goes on vacation every summer.

Goodbye

A word used to express farewell when someone is leaving or ending a conversation.

  • She waved and said, “Goodbye!” before getting on the bus.
  • It’s always hard to say goodbye to friends after a great party.

Hi

A casual and friendly way to say hello or greet someone.

Bye

A short and informal way to say goodbye when parting from someone.

Good morning

A polite greeting used to say hello to someone in the early part of the day.

Good afternoon

A polite greeting used to say hello to someone in the early to late afternoon, usually after 12 PM until around 6 PM.

Good evening

Good night
